Today Karsyn is 16 months old…

 

Today Karsyn turned 16 months old…Time is flying by when your having a blast, and that’s just what we are doing.  She is so much fun and full of energy.  She keeps us on our toes and laughing all the time.  We are truly blessed…

Fun in the Sun…

Today we enjoyed playing outside in the pool, eating lunch and watermelon…  I love lazy summer days with my family…

Daddy Day 2011…

Getting Back into the Swing of Things…

~I use to be so good at blogging about my girls and it makes me sad that I have stopped for the last couple of months, so here I go again…

Karsyn at 15 months, here are some things that Mommy wants to remember about you…

~You are everywhere, so adventurous as well as mischievous.   You climb on EVERYTHING…

~Your such a happy girl, you are always smiling and laughing and it’s contagious…

~You’re a little bootie shaker and love dancing to music…

~Listening, well you need to work on this a little, you don’t like to me told no and you sure don’t stop when we say it…

~You can point to your eyes and nose, put your hands up when we say “I don’t know”, blow kisses (both thanks to Aunt Theresa), say more in sign language, getting good at using a spoon to eat, follow a direction, put your shapes into your shape sorter correctly, do the motions to itsy bitsy spider, give hugs and kisses, wave bye-bye, play peek-a-boo, and say da-da, ma-ma, shoo (shoes), hi, sisss(sissy), you can shake your head yes or no…

~Still only 4 teeth, but I can see others on there way soon… 

~You love your books and will sit in Mommy, Daddy and Sissy’s laps and listen to us read to you as well as look at them by yourself…

~You’re a sleepy head, you may look like your Daddy but you love to sleep like your Mommy.  You take 2 naps a day as well as sleep until 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning (YEA).  We sometimes have to go and wake you up because you’ve been sleeping too long (CRAZY)… 

You have a shoe fetish, you put them on all sizes and walk around the house, when you won’t come to Mommy when I want to dress you, all I have to show you are your shoes, and a smile appears and here you come…

~You love to eat. Some of your favorite foods are carrots, peas, asparagus, cheerios, gold fish, mac and cheese, strawberries, grapes, watermelon, blueberries, waffles, just to name a few…

Here are things Mommy wants to remember about you…

~You love your baby sister, the other day I asked you what was your favorite thing about being a big sister and you said “that we can wear matching clothes”

~You are the best big sister EVER, you are so sweet to Karsyn and help her learn things all the time, you even like to get her out of her bed from time to time…

~You are obsessed with clothes, you would wear a dress or skirt everyday if Mommy would let you, you would also change clothes 10 times a day but that doesn’t happen either…

~You love being outside and playing…

~Drawing is one of your favorite things to do and you are always drawing a picture for some one or making them a card…

~You are such a sweet, caring little girl and all your friends love being around you.  Your best buddies are Mallory Moore, who you have known since you were 4 months old, Mallory Mahoney, who you met this year in Kindergarten and who we hope is also in your 1st grade class, and Amanda who moved in next door to us this January…

~You love ready books…

~You are such a little helper, jobs you like to do around the house are, making your bed, putting the silverware away from the dishwasher, folding towels, and putting a trash bag in the trash can after it’s been taken out by Daddy…

~ iCarly is your favorite T.V. show to watch…

~ You love music and sing along to every song while driving in the car…

~You can jump rope, tie your shoes as well as hula hop like a champ…

You are a keeper for sure and we are so blessed to have you in our lives, we love you sweet girl…

 

I Heart Shoes…

Karsyn loves wearing shoes, she puts on Mommy, Daddy and Kayden’s every chance she gets.  Today she came out of Kayden’s room wearing these, it was way too cute…
