Karsyn is 13 months…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today our sweet baby girl turned 13 months old.  She’s full of energy and keeps us on our toes.  Here’s what’s up in the Simpson house with a 13th month old…

~walking…I mean running.  You are everywhere and you get to where you want to go in fast mode.  You can now pull yourself up into the standing position without any help at all…

~clapping…whenever we say “yea”, you drop whatever is in your hand and start clapping with the biggest smile on your face…it’s so stink 'in cute…

~teeth…where oh where are you.  You still only have 2 on the bottom, we can see your 2 front teeth but they have yet to come.  Mommy called the Dr. and they said to call a pediatric dentist to see why they aren’t coming in, so I’m calling Dr. Jeffery on Monday, who is Kayden’s dentist… 

~eating…2 teeth, don’t stop you from chomping on some food.  You pretty much still love everything you put into your mouth.  Kayden gave you a bite of her blueberry yogurt the other night and you wanted more, so maybe you will love yogurt after all.  Here are some of your favs…carrots, chicken nuggets, beets, green beans, black beans, bananas, waffles, peaches, apple sauce, cheese, chicken noddle soup, and of course you love you some milk…

~talking…you’re a chatter box.  You make sounds all the time.  You can say…da da, ma ma, hi, wa tha (what’s that, as you point to something), hi u (how you), bye bye…

~sister love…you adore Kayden and love when she plays with you, we (Mommy) thinks she plays too rough with you sometimes but you love every minute of it.  She makes you laugh all the time and reads you books, which is just precious.

~books…you love being read to as well as looking at your books.  A few of your favorite books are…

~sleeping…you are a sleeping queen and love to sleep in on the weekends, unlike your sister who use to get up and still gets up early no matter what…you are so easy to put to bed at night, we read your favorite books and then we put you in your crib with your binky, your baby and blanket and off to dream land you go…

~personality…it’s really beginning to show, you are somewhat different than Kayden, which being your own person is a good thing.  Kayden was so laid back and quiet, where as you are more energetic and out going.  You like to be heard and when you don’t like something…BOY do you let us know.  You aren’t shy at all, when ever we go places you are always talking away to people in the basket or stroller and every Wednesday when we go to Kayden’s gymnastic class, Mommy lets you walk around and you go up to everyone and just talk to them, especially the ones that are just your size…

~happy girl…you smiled at 2 months old and haven’t stopped since.  Your smile melts are hearts, it’s the more precious thing every.  We know you’re cute, of course, but when other people stop us and say how cute you are to us and to you, then you smile at them, it just seals the deal.  You are such a happy little girl and you make our lives just that more full of happiness…
