Each year our wonderful PTA buys every teacher as well as student a spirit shirt. Today was the day that everyone was asked to wear their new shirts to school. Just one of the many reasons that I love that Kayden is at the school where I teach…

Sister Similarities…
I look at Kayden and Karsyn and I really don't see a lot of similarities but then when I come across pictures of them at the same age it really shocks me how much they do look a like…

Cute-a-licious!
Kayden is such a girly girl. She wants to wear a skirt everyday, so I told her that the first week of school was all HER ♥ and she could pick out her outfits all week long, she was so EXCITED :) So that there isn't drama everyday over picking out clothes, Mommy gets to pick out clothes on PE days starting next week. I love that Kayden cares so much about how she looks but sometimes it drives me crazy. According to my mom and Dana I was the same way, soooooo, guess I getting a little pay back...

Meet the Teacher…
Tonight was meet the teacher, it’s so hard to believe that Kayden is starting 1st grade at River Trails. This year her teacher is Mrs. Hutchinson, and we couldn’t be more excited. When I asked Kayden what her favorite thing about tonight was, she said that she got to pick where she wanted to sit and that she picked the seat right next to her friend Andrew, who was in her Kindergarten class. One of the sweetest things on her desk was the blank little owl, mommy and daddy wrote a sweet note to Kayden and Mrs. Hutchinson will give it to her at the end of her first day of school, and she can even read it which is so awesome. We are off to another great year at River Trails, can’t wait until Monday to see her walking in the hallway with her class…

Tomorrow Mommy has to go back to school. We had such an amazing summer. I’m so sad because I don’t get to spend all day with my girls, but I’m so lucky and fortunate that I have a job that allows me to be a stay-at-home mom 2 1/2 months out of the year and that I also get to see my sweet Kayden through out day, being she will be in 1st grade at my school…
Here are things I would like to remember about our summer…
sleeping in, gymnastics, Schulenburg, MawMaw, Pool Parties, tractor rides, PawPaw, HOT, lunch dates, beer, best buddies, teeny bikinis, ice cream, Doc, staying in P.j.s, popsicles, Aunt Theresa, organizing, swimming lessons, spending money, waterparks, Port Aransas, movies, watermelon, haircuts, train, staying up late, family, photo shoots, matching outfits, sleepovers, playdates, tans,Rainforest cafĂ©, Big Brother, cousins, playroom makeover, watermelon, pool parties…

4th of July Outfits…
I’m very proud to say that this year for the 4th of July, I didn’t buy one single outfit for my girls. All of Karsyn’s outfits were ones that Kayden had woren and Kayden’s were from her cousin Jillian, so I’m thrilled to say that I didn’t spend one cent and my girls still looked super duper cute…well, my girls look cute in everything they wear…
